Refund Policy
A straightforward policy for custom project work and platform services
Because most Webjockeys work is custom, scoped, and time-based, refunds are handled differently from off-the-shelf consumer purchases.

Custom work and project fees
The Webjockeys provides custom software, design, architecture, advisory, and platform-development services. Because this work is scoped and allocated specifically to each project, fees paid for completed work, delivered milestones, strategy sessions, and time already committed are generally non-refundable.
Deposits and kickoff payments
Deposits or kickoff payments reserve build capacity, planning time, and project allocation. For that reason, these payments are generally non-refundable once work has been scheduled or started, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Subscription or platform fees
If The Webjockeys introduces SaaS platform subscriptions, product access fees, or recurring operational retainers, the specific billing and cancellation terms will be set out in the relevant order form, platform agreement, or service proposal.
Third-party costs
Third-party fees, licences, transaction charges, hosting costs, domain fees, messaging fees, and similar pass-through costs are not refundable once incurred.
Exceptional cases
Where a refund request is made, The Webjockeys may assess the request in good faith based on the work completed, costs incurred, and the stage of the engagement. Any approved refund will be handled at our discretion unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
